Auditing Erie County-PUBLIC SERVANTS are ENTITLED TO PRIVACY! Delaware County, First Amendment Audit
This is a First Amendment Audit of the Delaware County Buildings on November 9th 2023. As soon as We entered County Hall the Court staff Immediately violated Our rights to film at the entrance of County Hall. Misquoting the Court filming rules and would not even look at it! They were total pricks. Then the County Clerk Debra Goodrich has NO CAMERAS signs all over the Clerk's office…. The signs need to go! The Clerk's tended to be fairly rude as well. After that while entering the administration building the security John Iovino was a complete Jerk and Tyrant. Not only would he not allow the Erie County Fam to walk freely in public, he stood to close, pushed us, walked into us, and consistently tried to Violate our rights! Then the assistance county attorney Daniel Jeremy Rase shows up trying to Violate Rights with his uneducated thoughts. Saying We need release forms to film public servants… Continuing to lie about what is publicly accessible. Refusing to Remove the Erie County Fam from public space claiming it was restricted access. But clearly it was open to the public! Daniel Jeremy Rase even went as far as to put hands on the camera violating Constitutional Rights!
This County building hopefully learned something and will need a revisit!
Luckily the Chief of Police Mike Mills was there to save the day and be a Constitutional HERO!
