Media Caught a fight between 2 Homeless People in Imperial Beach on Video. Media Contacted Lifeguards who notified San Diego Sheriffs Dept. Video was shown to Lifeguards but when the 2 Deputies arrived they threatened to impound Media's Camera to obtain the footage. Media said they could view the footage but Deputies would need a Subpoena or Judge's order to impound the camera/footage. Media, as allowed under the laws of the United States as a US Citizen, refused to turn over the camera or footage or speak to Deputies after they became hostile. The Media left the area and no Crime report was taken.
No Report was made to the City Attorney's Office.
