Minnesota News Now-Brooklyn Park, (Homicide) G.S.W. to the
Homicide
On Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2146 hours,
Officers of the Brooklyn Park Police Department were dispatched to a shooting at the African Market, 5700 Brookdale Dr.
Responding officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately provided emergency medical aid and the victim was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Officers conducted an extensive area search however the suspect was not located.
Police detectives are actively investigating this case.
