Auditing Erie County-💥NO PHOTOS WITHOUT MAYOR'S PERMISSION! Plattsburgh, NY City Hall
This is a First Amendment Audit of the City hall of Plattsburgh, NY on June 7th 2024. The city hall looks like a museum and you'd think that they would be use to cameras. But… you'd be wrong. Mary from the city Clerk's office immediately freaked out and demanded the Erie County Fam turn off Our Camera and to get permission from the Mayor to Exercise are Constitutional Rights in Public! Then called 911 and hit the panic button! By the time the police showed up the Clerk's learned that We the People have the right to film in public. This video shows multiple different reactions to the public coming in to our offices to take photos. The Clerk's and Community Development showed ownership of the public space! While the Building Inspector and Financial office had no care in the world of a camera and were quite pleasant.
