Laredo, TX – one week after the viral incident with Rookie Officer Rodriquez where he decided to call the cavalry to arrest us for recording, we decided to revisit but this time on the outbound lane (towards Mexico).
It started immediately with them telling us AGAIN we couldn’t record followed by body shaming and using personal phones to record private citizens. We thought that had been all until police cars started to respond (code 3) one block down, after talking to sources from the LPD we found out that officer Juan Vargas from CBP had called and lied about us having “black ski masks and long rifles”.
