LPD prohibited the free exercise of my right to video record this interaction. 45-254 makes no prohibition to recording and documenting that which is released under its public record release provisions. Additionally, the areas of the Police Station we were in are all open to the public with no restricted signage.

If LPD or the city prosecutor thinks I need to be prosecuted for this…bring it.
