MINNEAPOLIS: SHOOTING – 15xx E. Lake St. – One victim reportedly shot in the leg and the windows at a nearby business were shot out. – ShotSpotter detected 7 rounds nearby.
Medics reported the victim is a male around 35 who had a gunshot wound to the left ankle. He was being transported by ambulance around 3 a.m.
A second gunshot wound victim arrived at the hospital that may be related to this shooting on the 1500 block of E. Lake St.
Sounds like this person was injured by shrapnel.
