While in Seattle, WA on 12/11/20 my son and some friends joined me in attempting to get dinner from a restaurant. Our first choice was Dick's Drive In Burgers near the University of Washington Campus. This outdoor only dining establishment denied us service if we did not wear ritualistic shame muzzles as required by the health department. My son has a severe disability that prevents him from ever dawning a mask so we asked if he could go in under an ADA exemption from the rule. Dick's security said they discriminated against people who can't or won't wear masks at the request of the local health board.
